May: Summer Weather is here! #ChangingSeasons

After the coldest and most dismal April that I can remember, May arrived with sun and blazing temps. And the long suffering spring flowers were finally able to bloom, on my favourite local trail.

Of course, there were many turtles to be seen…

And off trail, things were blooming as well…

Meanwhile, back at Chez Badass it was finally warm enough to spend an evening on the patio…

  1. Sunshine and warmth…at last. 🙂 Your rooftop patio looks wonderful at night Deb…wishing you many beautiful evenings to enjoy it’s ambiance. Great pictures – especially like the turtle basking in the sun.

    1. Thank you! It’s about the only thing I can enjoy at the moment, Karen! But I think I am on the mend. Only had 1 coughing attack this afternoon – that’s an improvement.

  2. Yay for summer weather. I hope you have lots of opportunities to enjoy the trails, and your gorgeous roof patio (serious envy going on here 🙂 )

Great photos! You had a warmer May than we had. I was still wearing winter gear a 7-10 days ago. Glad you’re feeling a little better and can enjoy your wonderful roof top deck.

  5. We skipped spring completely this year and went straight into summer. After last summer’s fizzle, I’m not going to complain though 🙄

I hope you are getting out there on the patio and enjoying every minute possible – which is where I am right now drinking my morning coffee 🙂 May hasn’t been overly kind to you, so hopefully June finds you in better health and stronger!

  6. We have had a beautiful May in Maine, too, and we have spent some quality time sitting on our back yard patio. Our perennial garden is coming along beautifully, with cherry tree in bloom and other plants thriving. Wonderful to see your photos of wild flowers and the serenity of the badass rooftop patio. Spring has sprung! – Molly

  7. Sorry to be so late commenting, Deb. It has been an intensely crazy week.
I absolutely love the look of your rooftop patio. What an inviting place to chill.

Here's where the magic happens. I love comments!
